Medical Service Trip Program:
PLEASE NOTE: Global Links is temporarily suspending the Medical Service Trip Program due to COVID-19 safety precautions. We are not accepting applications until further notice.
From Pittsburgh to the World
The Global Links Medical Service Trip Program provides medical materials to qualifying volunteer service trips undertaken by residents of southwestern Pennsylvania. Trips must include a medical component, demonstrate familiarity with the medical needs and priorities of the communities they are serving, and offer free or greatly reduced medical care and/or surgeries.
Applications will be assessed during the first week of every month and supply will generally be available towards the end of the month. We look forward to working closely with your organization to see how we can best assist your mission!
COVID-19 Material Request:
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Global Links is supporting our region's healthcare "safety net", prioritizing front-line healthcare workers who serve residents in Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Washington and Westmoreland Counties.
Priority is given to:
- Free and charitable healthcare centers, including FQHCs
- Shelters and emergency housing facilities
- Human and social service agencies working with high-risk populations (i.e. seniors, individuals with preexisting conditions, individuals with a physical or intellectual disability, etc.)
Email firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know what your urgent needs are and we will do our best to help.
