Support our Local Pandemic Response!

Never has our tagline Sharing Surplus Saving Lives felt so urgent. We are open as a life-sustaining business and although our beloved volunteer center is closed, our staff are working remotely or social distancing on-site to continue our critical work. Our team is pivoting as rapidly as the daily changing situation and racing against the clock to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and save lives.

Protecting our local safety net healthcare workforce and the vulnerable communities they care for is now the top priority of our Community Partners program and our COVID-19 pandemic local response. We are working with local public health, corporate, manufacturing, healthcare, foundation and civic leaders to provide local nonprofit healthcare safety net workers with personal protection equipment (PPE), so that they can stay healthy and keep clinics open.

The nonprofit safety net is the first line of defense and prevention in critical times. This safety net includes services such as free and charitable healthcare clinics, shelters, human and social services, and senior care organizations, among others that people rely on to help in desperate times. The scope of the Coronavirus pandemic has clearly tested the capacity of these organizations and we need your help to respond.

Global Links is moving swiftly to respond locally because we have expertise and experience in medical surplus rescue and re-allocation. We get the right products into the right hands at the right time. Global Links has worked for 3 decades to improve health by equipping healthcare providers and caregivers in resource-poor settings. Because of our knowledge, systems, fleet and physical space we can immediately address our community’s urgent need while meeting our international commitments as border openings and closings allow.

With your support, we can continue to provide leadership and solutions in tackling our current and future challenges - remaining at the forefront of national and international efforts to utilize resources sustainably, strengthen health systems to respond to global health challenges, address social inequity for our neighbors, and help our communities recover.

It’s imperative that we expand and share our innovative model to protect healthcare workers on the frontlines of fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. You can make a secure online donation on our website.

If you'd like to designate 100% of your gift to our pandemic response efforts, please note "COVID-19 Response" in the memo of your check or add in the notes section of your on-line donation. Thank you!

Every dollar you give impacts one life through Global Links’ medical aid programs.  Thank you for your support!
