"Your help has been some of the best help the Bolivian government has received in years."
Rosanna Suárez, Director of the Unidad de Apoyo a la Gestión Social,
Ministry of the President

Global Links' program of medical aid to Bolivia first began in 2000. Seeing the considerable need for basic medical materials throughout the country, then First Lady Yolanda Prada de Lanzer asked Global Links to begin a program in Bolivia. Since then, Global Links has sent medical aid to support 15 clinics and hospitals throughout the country.

Working with the Unidad de Apoyo a la Gestion Social within the Ministry of the President, Global Links has concentrated on filling basic needs, focusing on essential items such as beds, examination tables, and primary care supplies. The program provides support for medical institutions in impoverished areas around the capital, as well as remote, rural areas with very limited resources.
